Colisée increases its financial capacity and crosses the 100 facilities threshold
Paris, July 26th, 2017 – Colisée announces the implementation of new financing lines under optimal conditions, as well as the acquisition of 12 nursing homes in France. This new growth operation has allowed Colisée to cross the 100 facilities threshold, thus reinforcing its position of one of the benchmark private operators with 102 facilities and more than 8000 beds.
An increased financial capacity
With the support of its majority shareholder IK Investment Partners, Colisée is able to profit from advantageous conditions on the debt market in order to increase its financial capacity.
The loan agreement signed with a banking pool comprising four prominent financial institutions – Bank of Ireland, Crédit Agricole CIB, Crédit Mutuel-CIC and ING – has raised the total amount of the financing lines to 460 million euros. The success met during the syndication of these lines reveals the trust that Banks and Investors place in Colisée’s business model.
The conditions obtained, in terms of maturity, pricing and flexibility of use of these financing lines, fit perfectly with Colisée’s growth project implementation.
Acquisition of 12 nursing homes (EHPAD) in France
Colisée continues its development in France and acquires twelve nursing homes from GDP Vendôme. This operation follows a previous similar acquisition in April 2017.
This portfolio meets Colisée’s selective investment criteria. Composed of quality institutions, it helps strengthen Colisée’s presence in the PACA and Aquitaine regions and furthermore provides opportunities for developing service residences, which are an alternative solution between life at home and life in a nursing home.
With its expertise in support and thanks to MyColisée, its private and secure social network, Colisée will do its utmost to enable the quick integration of these twelve new facilities’ staff, residents and loved ones.
“Our financial capacity, increased under excellent conditions, allows us to approach with confidence a new phase in our development, with the support of our majority shareholder IK Investment Partners. The symbolic threshold of 100 facilities, that we have crossed today, shows that the Colisée’s teams have the ability to turn growth opportunities into reality in a European market undergoing consolidation.” states Christine Jeandel, Colisée’s CEO.
