Colisée Lifestyle

The vibrant silver economy

Liver better and longer

A society that will have more than 23 million people aged over 60 by 2050 must redefine its approaches and solutions to the challenges of the silver economy:

  • Higher lifestyle needs underscoring generational differences
  • Emergence of a collaborative society in which consuming less and better is no longer a necessity but a lifestyle choice
  • Access to connected equipment revolutionising the health industry and access to medical expertise.

While 92% of people aged over 75 live at home and one out of every two people aged over 70 lives alone, new needs for seniors are emerging

  • Need for targeted and modular medical care, especially access to new therapeutic care
  • Need for local access to care and personalised services
  • Need to maintain contact with friends and family, openness to the world and ties with the rest of society (leisure activities, media, the Internet, etc.).

Live connected

Far from causing remoteness, new technology provides new opportunities to create ties between residents and their friends and family. Digital technology radiates through all generations today:

  • 1 senior out 4 aged 75 and over uses the Internet
  • More than 2 out of 3 seniors have a connected device
  • 75% of seniors use the Internet with a multi-use, multi-screen approach, and above all they use the Internet to create ties with their friends and family, keep up-to-date with the latest news and open up to the world (Source: TNS Sofres, 2016).

Our guiding actions

  • Our teams are available and committed 24/7 to ensure the wellbeing of each of our residents. We are determined to provide them each and every day with the highest level of service and the care needed. This means we must we adopt an innovative approach to the care we provide them.

Aware of the many difficulties that can arise when moving into a new living environment, we have developed a support approach that takes into account the integrity of each individual, their aspirations, lifestyle, tastes, religious freedom and needs.

We also know that the role of friends and family is crucial to the success of anyone moving into aged care and for their ongoing stay. Key contacts for our health professionals, they provide us with information, opinions and suggestions. We ensure they are closely engaged in the care approach developed for their family member through our Personalised Support Project established at the time of admission. The Director and Coordinating Physician, together with the entire team, provide their support for families and residents, helping them with all the administrative formalities and guiding them through the choices that have to be made.

Acknowledging each person’s work and contribution, continuous training and upskilling are real priorities for the group. The Group therefore offers a range of continuous training courses in aged care professions, management and project administration.

For those employees with specific career development needs or who want to retrain for a different job, we have created three Development and Training Pathways (PEF).

We have developed partnerships with schools like INSEEC, Toulouse Business School and Dauphine Business School to provide employees with the opportunity to complete degree courses and to obtain course recognition for their experience.

The personal fulfilment and the involvement of our employees are the best guarantees for ensuring the best quality care and services are delivered in our facilities.
